Soft pastel

It is a pastel piece that grew out of the overwhelming color of the island. Dark, breathing greens of the trees hold the space, while sudden flashes of orange flowers ignite the surface like small fires. The landscape feels almost too vivid to contain — dense, warm, and alive. The oranges flare through the greens, the strokes remain visible, restless, searching. The drawing is less about describing a place and more about holding the intensity of being there — that moment when color, heat, and vegetation feel almost unreal in their richness.
